Among those closest to our hearts are the pets that gave their lives to rescue those in the recent tragedy at the World Trade Center. Perhaps the most powerful point of the entire affair was the way in which such animals continue to risk their lives to accompany their human counterparts every day to save lives and make our conditions safe. This site is in many ways a tribute to them and the organizations that play such a huge role in helping to provide the services that they offer. Please visit our guests and visit our sponsors. |

enriches the lives of people with disabilities by training and placement
of service dogs to provide individuals with companionship and promote
independent living; educating the public to accept the use of service dogs
in public places; and assisting with animal rescue whenever possible by
obtaining animals from shelters and rescue groups.
Training is recipient specific and includes Mobility Assistance,
Signal/Hearing Ear, Seizure Assistance, and Companion/Emotional Support. 4
Paws Mission Pawsible seeks to help at-risk children find empowerment and
success through the training of service dogs for people with disabilities
and the Rover Rehab program has the same purpose for inmates at a
Correctional Facility. 4 Paws also offers training and placement of Search
and Rescue dogs. For more information, please visit the Search and Rescue
page at www.4pawsforability.org.
